Ronald Chimzimu
General Administrator
BA Biblical Studies, Minor in Communication, Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
"Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities." (Isaiah 53:11)
From a Christian Background, Ronald Chimzimu encountered Christ as a teenager. The Lord gave him a passion for evangelism and making disciples — this then became his life. With the influence of Christian brotherhood in high school, he soon realized that God was calling him to full-time ministry, though it wasn't quite clear for him at that time. After high school he proceeded to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Malawi Polytechnic in Blantyre, and thereafter worked for an electronics shop for two years. In the meantime he wrestled with God regarding his place in full-time ministry. Peace followed when he submitted to God's will and joined African Bible College in 2003 for theological training.
In his third year of college, Mr. Chimzimu became a member of the JTW family during the formative period of the ministry. He worked with the ministry on a part-time basis as an Administrative Assistant from the time of its inception until August 2008. He then moved to Dzuwa soon after his wedding to Ulemu (then Mandevu) in August 2007 and now serves with JTW as a full-time missionary.
Besides serving as the General Administrator to JTW Malawi, Mr. Chimzimu also coordinates the Church elders' ministry in all the 19 satellite churches of Katayauta C.C.A.P. In this capacity, his responsibilities include the training of church leaders and organizing seminars and guest speakers for the ministry. He also coordinates a similar ministry for youth leaders in Katayauta.
Mr. Chimzimu's passion is to see the Kingdom of God take dominion in all the earth. He would like to see the fruit of the sufferings of Christ made manifest from the rising to the setting of the sun.
