Paul Roberts
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31) Paul was raised in a home with a Christian mother and was taught the Bible from an early age. However, it was not until he was exposed to the Reformed faith in his late 30's that he really came to know the Lord. He currently lives with his wife Cecilia in Vancouver, Canada, where they attend the Associated Presbyterian Church. They are raising three children: Brooklynn, Jimmy, and Elijah. Paul works as a Registered Nurse. Paul heard about Joy to the World (JTW) through his pastor, the founder of JTW, Fletcher Matandika. After hearing about the work that JTW does in Malawi, he became interested in having JTW - Canada established. His wife, Cecilia, is from the Philippines, and their hope is that JTW can be used to spread the gospel in the Philippines and other countries throughout the world. |
