Irene Lubker
Irene was born in Thyolo, Malawi and moved to the United States of America in 1988. She has a BA in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Public Health Nutrition, and a Master's degree in Library Science. She is also a registered dietitian and is working part-time towards a Ph.D. in Epidemiology. She currently works as a Research Medical Librarian and an Instructor in the department of Epidemiology and Community Health at Virginia Commonwealth University. Irene is a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia and St. Michael and All Angels church in Blantyre, Malawi. Irene is very excited to be a new mom. She went to Malawi and adopted her ten year old nephew on January 29th, 2009. |
