Gloria Khembo
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6) Gloria felt the call of God to serve with Joy to the World Ministries in 2007 when she married Elliot. She is the Women Development Officer (WDO) in the Microfinance Program and is responsible for supervising and monitoring running of the program. She is also responsible for conducting Bible studies with the women and making sure that their spiritual needs are taken care of. Before joining Joy to the World Ministries, she worked with Concern Universal as a Field Assistant Monitor. Later she worked with Beyond Petroleum (BP) Malawi as a cashier. Gloria Elliot received Christ as her Savior in 1996 when she was in high school. From that time, she had been serving the Lord through different ministries such as Student Christian Organization of Malawi (SCOM) and Fellowship of Youth in her Church until the time she joined Joy to the World Ministries. |
