Elson Kabango Scota
Maize Mill Operator/Agricultural Development Assistant
Diploma, Teen Missions
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose." (Galatians 2:20-21)
Elson comes from Mphambanya Village, T/A Mazengera Lilongwe District. He is the firstborn of eight children. He did his primary education at Matapila Primary School and his secondary at Matapila Community Day Secondary School and Kapiri Private School in Mchinji.
Mr. Scota first met with Fletcher Matandika while he was serving as a volunteer at Matapila orphanage when Fletcher was Director of Ministry of Hope. In 2008, Elson joined the Teen Missions, where he was trained in theology and missionary work. His career with the Teen Missions was quite impressive. He used to do children's ministry and other outreach programs in the villages surrounding his school. He was also a team leader for camps.
Elson joined the JTW family in September 2007 as a Miller and an Agricultural Development Assistant.
