Mr. Khembo is quiet gentleman from Mlangeni, Ntcheu District. He is happily married to Gloria. They are blessed with a baby girl, Chikonzero (meaning "Providence"). Khembo received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior in 1997 while in secondary school. Since then, he has been serving God through youth ministries in his Church and other Christian ministries.

He did his primary school at Thanganyika School and secondary at Ntcheu Secondary School. In September 2002, he enrolled with African Bible College, where he graduated with a BA in Biblical Studies and a minor in Christian Education.

Elliot Khembo joined Joy to the World Ministries Inc. just a week after graduating from college—He was one of the pioneers.

As of now, he works as the National Director of Joy to the World Ministries Malawi. His responsibility is to coordinate and oversee all programs and projects under Joy to the World Malawi.
