Branco Jonas Jere
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) Branco is one of the privileged few from Chiopsa Village in Ntchisi District who went as far as high school with their education. He went to school at Chimbalu Primary school in Ntchisi, and SOS Secondary School in Lilongwe. College was at Teen Mission Theological School at Chipoka in Salima District. He was born in a Christian family of six, three boys and three girls. Trained at Teen Mission Theological School in missions and Agriculture, Branco Jere is a passionate young Christian who takes every opportunity to share Christ. Before joining JTW, Branco worked short time with the Salvation in Jesus Christ Church in Nkhotakota, and later taught at a theological college owned by the Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Nsaru for five months. He came to visit Dzuwa in 2007, and felt God's call upon his life. Mr. Jere works at the maize mills where he loves to share the Word of God every morning with the first customers of the day. Branco married Ivy, his sweetheart, in October 2008, and are now serving the Lord together in Dzuwa. For them, serving God through Joy to the World Ministries is a wonderful opportunity. |
